We understand that arrival time and location may be subject to change. Client is responsible to provide time either on this form or in written message thread and recieve confirmation before assuming photographer is informed.

Location is subject to travel costs over 2 hours drive from Portland, Oregon, though we keep fees minimal.

5. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy

• If canceled more than 4 months before the wedding date: Clients forfeit retainer only.

• If canceled within 4 months of the wedding: 50% of total contract price is due.

• If canceled within 90 days of the wedding: 100% of contract price is due.

• Rescheduling is allowed with at least 2 months’ notice and only if the Photographer is available.

Retainer is always non-refundable.

6. Photographer Responsibilities

• Photographer will bring professional equipment and maintain backups.

• Number of Edited Images: Approximately 200-800

• Editing Style: Photographer’s artistic style is final and not subject to revision requests.

• Delivery Method: Online gallery, unless otherwise specified

7. Client Responsibilities

• Provide vendor meals for Photographer(s) during reception.

• Provide parking access.

• Provide a detailed wedding schedule.

• Provide a family/group shot list in advance (if you want, I can handle it regardless)

• Provide written arrival time and location updates and recieve confrimation from photographer prior to the wedding date, if not done already in this form

8. Model Release / Usage Rights

• Clients grant Photographer permission to use images for portfolio, website, ads, and social media.

• Clients receive a personal use license (print, share, and display images for personal/non-commercial use).

9. Copyright & Reproduction

• Photographer retains full copyright.

• Clients may not edit, sell, or apply filters to images.

• Vendors must obtain permission before using images.[Photographer requires client permission if vendors request usage as well]

10. Liability & Backup Plan

• In case of emergency, Photographer will make reasonable efforts to secure a replacement shooter.

Both parties agree to indemnify and hold each other harmless from any claims related to this Agreement.

11. Force Majeure

If performance is prevented due to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other uncontrollable events, liability is limited to rescheduling or refunds at the photographer’s discretion.

12. Venue Requirements

• The photographer is not responsible for venue restrictions.

• Clients must inform the photographer of any photo/video limitations in advance.

13. Delivery Terms

• Delivery Method: Advanced Online Gallery (ask about prints)

• Delivery Timeline: Expect 2-6 weeks, depending on workload. Typically 2 weeks, but late summer through fall may yield minor or rare major delays.

Gallery Availability: Minimum of 3 months from delivery date or longer if online storage capacity allows.

14. Severability Clause

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in whole or in part, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid portion shall be replaced with a valid clause that achieves the original intent.
